Combo: Drejning & slab building event

Minimum participants: 3 Max participants: 6 NOTE: When you gör en bokningsförfrågan, it will be for 2.5 hrs, HOWEVER, this combo class is in fact 3 hrs long. Combo classes booked online for 1430-1630 will actually begin at 1400. Each student will have about an hour for two tries on the pottery wheel AND will create a slab-built piece! This workshop involves a rotation at the pottery wheel. 3 participants will try the pottery wheel while the other 3 work on a slab-building project. Then participants will switch places. Participants should decide as a group which slab-building project they would like to do: mug, small kruka with attached plate (see photo), or essential oil diffuser. 3900 SEK is the minimum price for booking the studio for this private event. This price covers UP TO 3 participants. Participants can be added at the cost of 1300 SEK per participant. You can opt to bring fewer than three participants to your workshop, however, the minimum price remains 3900 SEK (to book individual spots, check out our Prova På public events). The price includes the following per participant: up to 1.75 kilos of clay, the completion of up to 1 piece, 1 glaze color. The "completion" of a ceramic piece is a long process. A lot goes on behind the scenes after you leave the studio! Your pieces must be monitored and slow-dried to help prevent cracking. I will then fire, glaze, and fire your pieces again. Each firing plus cooling time takes around 36 hrs. The second firing goes up to 1255 degrees C! This is not something you can do in your kitchen oven at home ;) Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup from the studio on average 4 weeks after your workshop We do not offer refunds, so please double check with your friends/family that the date and time works for you all before booking. If a member of your group has symptoms that could be Corona, we will be happy to reschedule your group's session as a thank you for staying home and keeping us all safe.

We don’t offer refunds for cancellations. Please review your schedule and coordinate with your party before you register. Plan ahead to be sure that you can attend! In 5-week classes, if you have to miss a class, please let me know ASAP. I may be able to arrange a switch with another student so you don't have to miss any class time.
