Private Group: Slab-built, footed kruka

Minimum participants: 6 at 900 kr per person OR Minimum price for booking: 5400 Max participants: 9 The price includes the following per participant: up to 1 kilo of clay, the completion of up to 1 piece, 1 glaze color. Learn to make a slab-built footed kruka! Feel free to bring objects from nature (for example leaves or flowers) or from your home to press into the clay for texture. I will also provide some textures and letter stamps for you to experiment with in the studio! Children aged 8 and above can participate well in all the adult workshops. The "completion" of a ceramic piece is a long process. A lot goes on behind the scenes after you leave the studio! Your pieces must be monitored and slow-dried to help prevent cracking. I will then fire, glaze, and fire your pieces again. Each firing plus cooling time takes around 36 hrs. The second firing goes up to 1255 degrees C! This is not something you can do in your kitchen oven at home ;) Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup from the studio on average 4 weeks after your workshop. We do not offer refunds, so please double check with your friends/family that the date and time works for you all before booking. If a member of your group has symptoms that could be Corona, we will be happy to reschedule your group's session as a thank you for staying home and keeping us all safe.

We don’t offer refunds for cancellations. Please review your schedule and coordinate with your party before you register. Plan ahead to be sure that you can attend! In 5-week classes, if you have to miss a class, please let me know ASAP. I may be able to arrange a switch with another student so you don't have to miss any class time.
