Private: Combo Drejning & Slab-built Mug

Minimum participants: 6 at 1350 kr per person OR Minimum price for booking: 8100 kr Max participants: 12 I have 6 pottery wheels. For a group larger than 6, if you want to do the pottery wheel (dreading), we do a slab-built mug (a hand building technique called Kavling in Swedish) AND pottery wheel rotation. This is a 3 hour event. Start with 15 minutes of texture experimentation for the mugs and a 30 minute wheel demonstration. Half the group drejas while the other build mugs for an hour. Then the groups switch places for another hour. The base price for this is 1350 kroner per person. With the discount it’s 1215 kroner per person. This includes two tries on the wheel for each person (500 g per try) and 500 g clay for the slab-built mug (the slab I will prepare before class). It includes the The "completion" of a ceramic piece is a long process. A lot goes on behind the scenes after you leave the studio! Your pieces must be monitored and slow-dried to help prevent cracking. I will then fire, glaze, and fire your pieces again. Each firing plus cooling time takes around 36 hrs. The second firing goes up to 1255 degrees C! This is not something you can do in your kitchen oven at home ;) Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup from the studio on average 4 weeks after your workshop We do not offer refunds, so please double check with your friends/family that the date and time works for you all before booking. If a member of your group has symptoms that could be Corona, we will be happy to reschedule your group's session as a thank you for staying home and keeping us all safe.

We don’t offer refunds for cancellations. Please review your schedule and coordinate with your party before you register. Plan ahead to be sure that you can attend! In 5-week classes, if you have to miss a class, please let me know ASAP. I may be able to arrange a switch with another student so you don't have to miss any class time.
